Jeff Bockhorn is founder of the Michelob Ultra Runners and has competed in marathons since the early 1980s.  The Michelob Ultra Runners have a rich tradition with the Route 66 marathon based on the partnership between the Route 66 organization and Anheuser-Busch.  Bockhorn's team consist of runners that are Olympic caliber to the just want to finish runner.  Bockhorn has paced several races.  He and his wife Joane have completed 49 of the 50 states in the 50 states marathon quest.  Three years ago, he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and beat the odds.  He was a motivational speaker on the marathon circuit, this is his first time back since beating cancer.  He'll be talking about the history of route 66 and do's and don'ts, last minute tips before you start the journey on Route 66.  Not only will Jeff Bockhorn be speaking, but you'll be able to identify him and his team on the course - they'll be wearing the Michelob Ultra Singlets.  Say, 'I live life to the ultra' and they'll point you to the Michelob Ultra tent at the Finish... "Yeah", says Bockhorn,"I don't get it - people run 13.1 and 26.2 miles and stop at the finish - a few hundred more yards and you are at the Michelob Ultra Tent for your free beer. (must be over 21"
